[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Moving/transferring an archival object as its own resource record

Hello all!

I am looking for a way to move an archival object (with child records) up to the first level as its own resource record.  I know that I can transfer an archival object to an accession, but I've had information disappear when doing so and am hesitant to use this method.
