[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Create directories for branding resources?

I'm trying to follow these directions<https://archivesspace.github.io/tech-docs/customization/theming.html> for customizing our ArchivesSpace 3.2.0 instance.

While the directions clearly state that some/all of the directories in the path to store a branding image will need to be created, I was not expecting to need to create the public/app/views/shared/_header.html.erb file, or those directories, yet they do not seem to exist in my installation (below). Should I proceed to create these directories, along with the _header.html.erb file?
