Kia ora all,
Looking for some advice. We are testing a new AS upgrade (2.7.x) and running into a couple of issues in our test environment.

  1. Search results. Is there any way to reorder the way Search results are returned. In our previous version (2.5.x) search results were returned with COLLECION level being given priority. The new version returns it by 'relevance' which means there is no structure to the search results (could be file name, item, or series level, intermixed). For us, ideally we want search results at the Collection level first. I know we can then apply filters, but this seems to be an additional step, we have never needed before.
  2. Is there any way to modify the way AS draws the 'preferred citation' field. It seems to be pulling text from various fields, and returning a result that does not make sense (despite us entering in a preferred citation in the appropriate field, for each (at the collection level). If working at the series or item level we are getting very mixed results. Are you now required to enter a citation note, at every level?
  3. IS there a way to have the "Language of Finding aid" default to English,. It seems for some reason it is defaulting to "language undetermined" despite the Language field being set to English for each collection item. We do not want to have to alter this manually for every record.
Any advice greatly received.

Nga mihi nui.
