[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Dates: Label customization

Hi, Elisa,

At present, the Date Label value list is one of several controlled value lists in ArchivesSpace that cannot be configured.

Controlled value lists that are non-configurable are so because their specific values are used in data format exports.

Many of the controlled value lists in ArchivesSpace are configurable, however.  Here is the example of the  default controlled values for Accession Acquisition Type, which includes options for merging, deleting, and creating new values:

The option for viewing and configuring the controlled values lists is on the System menu:

Hello,

Here in the Caltech Archives we are doing some import tests from our current database (FileMakerPro) to the ArchivesSpace Accession in view of the future migration of our data.

We would like to know if in the 'Dates' field is possible to  customize some of the choices within 'LABEL' (please see attachment) and we were wondering if any of you had already successfully done it. If so, could you please give us some details and/or instructions?
