[Archivesspace_Users_Group] EAD Importer doesn't like en-dashes: Error: ""\xE2\x80\x93"" from UTF-8 to US-ASCII

The EAD Importer apparently doesn’t like en-dashes:

Error: ""\xE2\x80\x93"" from UTF-8 to US-ASCII



There are a bunch of them in the EAD file. 
I’m guessing it’s the ones in the unitdate’s that it particularly doesn’t like,
as it doesn’t usually seem to have trouble with unicode in text fields.
