Hello!

Check out our new blog post! MIT's PhysioNet Platform Uses Trust Markers in ORCID Records to Streamline Data Access Credentials<https://lyrasisnow.org/mits-physionet-platform-uses-trust-markers-in-orcid-records-to-streamline-data-access-credentials/>. PhysioNet is an ORCID-enabled repository of medical research data managed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Laboratory for Computational Physiology. MIT became an ORCID member in 2014 and joined the ORCID US Community<https://orcid.org/members/001G000001wND7XIAW-lyrasis> consortium in 2019. This blog post explores how trust markers found in ORCID records helps to streamline the process PhysioNet uses to qualify users and grant them access to sensitive clinical data.

Thank you to Tom Pollard and Brian Gow, both of MIT, for sharing their work with the ORCID US Community.

Note: This blog post is a re-post of ORCID's blog titled "A Use Case for Trust Markers in ORCID Records: Streamlining the Credentialing Process<https://info.orcid.org/a-use-case-for-trust-markers-in-orcid-records-streamlining-the-credentialing-process/>, published on June 8, 2022.

Thank you!

ORCID US Community
