What's Covered:
Scholarly content platforms and researcher user expectations are seemingly in a constant state of flux in this digital era. To keep up with this change, scholarly publishers increasingly are looking at how to conduct user experience research to deliver improved, intuitive interfaces that serve their researchers daily workflow needs.

While understanding user expectations and studying their behavior is critical to building modern content platforms, it's just as vital to understand how to do this research.

To explore this topic in-depth, join Semantico's John Helmer, Senior Consultant and Owen Priestley, Head of Design and User Experience in an NFAIS Webinar, Thursday, July 23. John and Owen will discuss the research methods they use to help scholarly publishers and societies deliver platform changes and improvements.

We're also pleased Serena Rosenhan, PhD, Director, User Experience Design, with ProQuest, joins this webinar as a presenter. Serena will talk about how she conducts UX research to make continual improvements to ProQuest's suite of discovery and research tools on behalf of its diverse customer base.

In this 90-minute webinar, attendees will learn about:

· How mobile devices affect user experience design and what needs to be factored in
· What role Google Analytics should play in governing the creation of user experience
· How marketing research and user experience research complement each other
· Recommendations of and best practices for UX research methods

Join us on Thursday, July 23 to explore how studying key elements of user behavior can be used to improve your content platform, meet evolving user needs and keep you on the forefront of delivering optimized experiences for researchers and information professionals.
