NFAIS members should be aware that registration will be closing at noon on Tuesday, August 26 for the upcoming NFAIS Webinar, Linked Data: An Update on Real-World Implementation.
 
The webinar on Thursday, August 28 features : Michael Lauruhn, Disruptive Technologies Director, Elsevier, and Ted Fons, Executive Director, Data Services and WorldCat Quality, OCLC.
 
These experts will discuss:
The visible and measurable results of their work with Linked Data.
Realized user benefits, and streamlined processes for the user experience.
Cost versus return on investment.
Implementation challenges, pitfalls, and lessons learned.
The NFAIS webinar is scheduled to run between 11:00am (EDST) and 12:30pm. As always, should you find you have a conflict with that timing, registered participants are granted access to the recording of the event.
