Members-Only Event Scheduled for the 2013 NFAIS Annual Conference

 

A special members-only event is scheduled to take place on  Monday, February
25th during the forthcoming NFAIS Annual Conference. The session, In Search
of a Future - The End of the Middleman?, will begin with a box lunch to be
followed by a presentation on "predictions" for publishing and media in the
near future.  The session will feature Michael Cairns, President,
Information Media Partners, who will offer his annual predictions with a
special look at the impact on the publishing business of a collapsed supply
chain where traditional 'middlemen' risk being replaced or subsumed into the
core activities of the content (product) producer. 

 

Participation at this session is open to all NFAIS members who are
registered to attend the 2013 conference and who sign up for this event in
advance.  Space is limited to the first 100 who sign up, so please contact
me asap to reserve your seat.
