Monday, February 25<sup>th</sup> during the forthcoming NFAIS Annual
Conference. The session,<i> In Search of a Future – The End of the
Middleman?, </i>will begin with a box lunch to be followed by a presentation on
“predictions” for publishing and media in the near future.
The session will feature Michael Cairns, President, Information Media Partners,
who will offer his annual predictions with a special look at the impact on the
publishing business of a collapsed supply chain where traditional
‘middlemen’ risk being replaced or subsumed into the core
activities of the content (product) producer. </span><span style='color:black'><o:p></o:p></span></p>
