You connect to the database that your ArchivesSpace instance is using and run that SQL command. The connection information should be in your config.yml file.

Thanks Ed! Would you happen to know where I would place this line? I am scared of breaking something.

You don't often get email from buschedw at msu.edu<mailto:buschedw at msu.edu>. Learn why this is important<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderIdentification__;!!HXCxUKc!0X9Qu0dyYMuwuMJbI4Q6LeZkKyFeVhRlPdNmukNJD5MjAyoWYSGJfGwzyOgkOjiUQf5sLv2MIT0guar8eEirfYx5gg$>

I bet it’s related to time change on 3/12. Here’s what’s Blake Carver posted to fix that:

It's that time of year again! If ArchivesSpace isn't working for you today, check the logs... If you see

DatabaseError: Java::JavaSql::SQLException: HOUR_OF_DAY: 1 -> 2

Try this and restart, that'll probably do the trick.

UPDATE user set user_mtime = NOW(), system_mtime=NOW();

Hi:

We have been running our instance of ArchivesSpace for a few months with no issue. For the past week, we have not been able to access ArchivesSpace and get an error saying:

This site can’t be reached

localhost refused to connect.

Has anyone had this issue and know how to fix it? I have tried looking online but have not found something specific to this issue.

Sincerely,

Lopez
