Hi Tom,

There are instructions here for installing a default service init script (disclaimer: I have not tested this)

https://solr.apache.org/guide/8_0/taking-solr-to-production.html#service-installation-script

Subject: [Archivesspace_Users_Group] Starting external Solr at startup
Recently moved to ArchivesSpace 3.4, which requires running Solr externally.

How can I run the Solr service automatically upon server reboot.
I do not see a Solr startup file, where expected: /etc/init.d/solr

Note: My server is running: RHEL 6.8

Thanks

-Tom
