[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Extent calculations in cubic feet

If you changed your base measurement from linear to cubic feet in the config. file, what happens when you calculate extent? You are only providing one measurement (let us say width) for extent dimension, but it really should be using all three for cubic feet. And how would the stacking limit come into play?
