Hi all,
I have a wishful dream about barcoded top containers importing and exporting out of our catalog system.  Does anyone know of a plugin or tool for enable this to happen?  Example scenario: I have a collection with 60+ barcoded containers nicely described in ArchivesSpace.  I can easily export the MARC record for the collection, but I just wish that it would also export the item records for the barcoded top containers as well.  This way, when I import the MARCXML into my ILS, it also imports the barcoded and attached item records.  Ideally in the other direction, if a collection is only described in MARC with attached barcoded item records for each box, that could be imported into ArchivesSpace to create a stub resource record with already created top containers.  Is it possible?  Has it been built?
