[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Assistance with migrator plugin

Hi Margaret,
If you contact me off-list I can talk you through our settings for doing this migration (although we did the same last year). In our case, because the two were not on the same machine, we had to enable some extra settings in our SFX tool to bridge the data over the connections.

There are others that also have likely suggestions for you too but if my offer is helpful, let me know.

Hi all,

I'm testing a migration from Archivists' Toolkit 2.0.0 update 16 to ArchivesSpace v1.4.2 using the Migration Plugin Version 1.4.2 (10-28-2015).

The AT test database (and the production one) is on a database server managed by my IT department. The client is installed on my local PC.

After running the migration plugin the error log says:

RECORD CONVERSION ERRORS/WARNINGS ( 0 ) ::

RECORD SAVE ERRORS ( 0 ) ::

Running for: 1 min 46.77 sec

Current # of Records Copied:

Archives Space Data Migrator v1.4.2 (10-28-2015)
Simulator

True to the above log, no records appear in AS. The inclusion of the word "simulator" in the log seems odd - I've searched the listserv and AS documentation for related information and haven't found anything. Apologies if there's an obvious answer or if this has been previously documented.

Any suggestions on things to try or change would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any assistance!
