[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Help With PDF and EAD Export

Tara,

Just a wild guess, but since the EAD file seems to fail while trying to export information about the Repository, can you edit your Repository record and make sure that everything looks okay there?  You can edit your Repository in the staff interface by going to System --> Manage Repositories --> click "Edit" next to the repository that's causing an issue.

Hopefully that helps, but if not, can you post back what your Repository record looks like?  Seeing this, "Universe3nananeq7 iE te w Specialonnllticuons", at the bottom of the PDF file makes it look like some data is corrupted, but whether that's happened in the database or elsewhere, I couldn't say.   But since the EAD file cuts off right where the exporter should be adding the URL info for the repository, that seems to be the most likely culprit.  If data is there in the Repository record, what happens if you delete it and re-export?

Good morning everyone.

I sent a message out last week but my whole message sis not go out, sorry if that was confusing in a call for help.

We do need some help. We upgraded to v2.1.2 and we can no longer get a clean PDF Export or a clean EAD Export.
Has anyone else had this trouble.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.  We can add data and work with collections so that is going smoothly
But the Exports we need to do are not working. I attached a sample of the very garbled PDF Finding Aid and also a copy
Of the EAD that gets outputted, the start is like usual and then garbled text?
