[Archivesspace_Users_Group] frontend mangles file_version URIs

The frontend appears to mangle any file_version URIs whose scheme isn’t http:

 uva-lib:01234567 is transformed into file://01234567<file:///01234567>

file_versions remain correct according to backend API. Just getting mangled in frontend view.

This appears to me to be a bug, but as it looks intentional, I’m wondering if there is some use case for this behavior?
i.e. any reason not to remove this:
