[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Archon migration results in line breaks disappearing

Good morning.

We've encountered an issue in migrating from Archon that I saw addressed in the ArchivesSpace Google Group about a year ago. Text fields that include a line break in Archon are migrated into ArchivesSpace without any line breaks. Line breaks are exported as <p> when a finding aid is exported as EAD from Archon, but appear to be stored as blank space (or possibly a tab) in the MySQL tables.

It appears that there was a bug filed for this issue here:

but it shows that the bug was fixed and verified. However, we're still seeing it in the migration tool. Has anyone come up with a solution for this?
