Chris,

Thanks for this addition. It really makes it much more obvious that everything is running as intended.

Hi Patrick,

Sorry, looping back on some lost threads...

The v1.1.2 update makes it much more explicit about the status of the resequencing progress in the log files. You'll definitely see it if you tail -f logs/archivesspace.out while ASpace is starting.

Anyone worked with 1.1.1 yet and the resequence on startup?

We'd really like to make sure it ran properly, but I never saw any difference in the logs with it on vs. with resequencing off.

To build on this, when I restarted the application with AppConfig[:resequence_on_startup] = true set, I did not see any rebuilding process underway.

We have about 680,000 archival objects, so I expected to take a few hours, but after startup, I only see the regular indexer rounds working.

We have version 1.1.1 up and running on our development server for testing, but I'm a little unclear what sort of messages I should be seeing re: the Archival Object and Digital object resequencing.

I have added "AppConfig[:resequence_on_startup] = true" to the config file but I don't know what I messages I should be looking for to make sure it's running, or to verify that it has completed.

Are there any examples?

Thanks!
