Hi Chela,

I certainly don't disagree with what you and Tom are suggesting.

One maybe minor point I would make is that there already are two mailing lists for ArchivesSpace, and as you know there's a lot of people who are on one list and not aware of the other.
The other issue is that it's really unclear what these lists are for, how they're different, etc. Really, a lot of the traffic is simply bug reporting or help requests, which is really not ideal for a mailing list.

Maybe the at large community would want to discuss what they would like to see and how this can be improved.
