I certainly don't disagree with what you and Tom are suggesting. <br>
<br>
One maybe minor point I would make is that there already are two mailing lists for ArchivesSpace, and as you know there's a lot of people who are on one list and not aware of the other.<br>
The other issue is that it's really unclear what these lists are for, how they're different, etc. Really, a lot of the traffic is simply bug reporting or help requests, which is really not ideal for a mailing list.

Maybe the at large community would want to discuss what they would like to see and how this can be improved.
