[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Character limit in location notes?

I have frequently encountered situations where I can't save a Resource record because the note in the Location subrecord of an Instance is too long.

My testing seems to indicate that the maximum length is 255 characters.

This is the error message I get when the note is too long:
translation missing: en.no key - translation missing: en.validation_errors.database_integrity_constraint_conflict__java__commysqljdbc__mysqldatatruncation__data_truncation__data_too_long_for_column__note__at_row_1

The Location note in an Instance is the only place I have encountered this.

I couldn't find anything in Pivotal Tracker, but I may not have searched the right keywords.

Has anyone else encountered this?
