[Archivesspace_member_reps] JIRA account activation emails sent

Dear ArchivesSpace member representatives,

Following up on my message from Monday, the JIRA account activation emails have now been sent to all of you subscribed to this list. They were sent in a few different batches, so you may have received your email anytime from Tuesday through today. (You may want to check your spam folder if you didn’t see it in your inbox.) You will need a JIRA account in order for your institution to participate in the development prioritization process, more information about which will be coming soon.

If you did not receive an email, or if you have any difficulties activating your account, please let me know. Thanks in advance for your participation!

Subject: [Archivesspace_member_reps] creation of user accounts in JIRA for ArchivesSpace member representatives

​Dear ArchivesSpace member representatives,

Very soon we will be sending out information on how you can participate in prioritizing ArchivesSpace development work as identified in JIRA, the system we now use to track and prioritize development issues. To enable your institution to participate in the prioritization process, we are creating accounts in JIRA for each member representative (i.e. the people subscribed to this listserv) so that member representatives can vote for the issues that are crucial to their institutions during the next six months. This week you will be receiving an email from the system with a link to activate your account (the subject of the email will include your username and “welcome to Atlassian Cloud”). Please be sure to follow the steps to activate your account. Please let me know if you do not receive an activation email by the end of this week.

A few notes:

1.       Those of you who already have ArchivesSpace accounts in JIRA or Confluence will be able to use your existing accounts and will not receive a new account notification.

2.       If you already have an account in Confluence or JIRA for another project and would like to use it for ArchivesSpace as well, please let me know.

3.       Lastly, if you are no longer your institution’s ArchivesSpace member representative, please let me know so that I may set up a JIRA account for the correct person at your institution and also subscribe the correct person to this listserv.

Additional information about the development road map voting process will be available very soon. If you have any questions, or if you have any difficulties activating your JIRA account, please let me know.
