July 12 Community Call: ROR & ORCID

ORCID recently announced that the Research Organization Registry (ROR<https://ror.org/>) has been added to the ORCID Registry as a disambiguated Organization ID. ROR can now be used with the ORCID API and the ORCID Affiliation Manager tool<https://info.orcid.org/affiliation-manager/> to add affiliations to the ORCID registry, and ROR is also now the default organization ID provider for all affiliations that are added to ORCID records manually by individual users. On this community call, we will learn more about ROR and ORCID, with guest speakers Liz Krznarich, Technical Lead at ROR, and Paloma Marín-Arraiza, Engagement Manager at ORCID.
