What is the ORCID API, how does it work, and why should you care? Rescognito: Recognize your Researchers

Rescognito<https://rescognito.com/> is a new ORCID-based platform that allows individuals and institutions to recognize anyone with an ORCID iD for a wide array of activities, shifting the focus of scholarly assessment to include a more well-rounded view of contributions, attribution, and impact.
