<p class="MsoNormal">Peer review is a key source and driver of trust in scholarly publications and, a 2015 report commissioned by The Wellcome Trust entitled Scholarly Communication and Peer Review: The Current Landscape and Future Trends, highlights the need
to move towards greater transparency; greater interaction between editors, authors and reviewers; and the need for scholarly credit and recognition for reviewer contributions.<o:p></o:p></p>
