Complimentary Webinar: The User Search Experience:  What Users Want

 

The opening keynote for the May 14th NFAIS Workshop, Improving the User
Search Experience Part 1: Leveraging Technology focused on the results of a
study done at the University of Minnesota to determine how relevant library
resources could be made more visible, particularly within the user workflow.
The presentation discussed five key trends related to information discovery
and how those trends are reflected in user information seeking behavior.

 

With permission of the speaker, Cody Hanson, a principle guiding the
research and Technology Librarian at the University of Minnesota responsible
for usability issues, I am providing you with a link to the recording of the
