In these uncertain times during a global health crisis, Open Access (OA) remains as critical as ever. LYRASIS is pleased to continue our support for the innovative Knowledge Unlatched Open Access program<https://www.lyrasis.org/content/Pages/product-details.aspx?pid=82858FCA-1A2D-E311-B173-18A9053F8A60> for its 7th pledging round, offering libraries opportunities to support the creation and dissemination of high quality scholarly content without paywalls.

Knowledge Unlatched 2020 Pledging Round

  * Knowledge Unlatched (KU) launched its 7th pledging round on May 4, 2020. For the 2020 pledging round, KU offers 343 books (151 front list and 192 backlist) in the Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS). Institutions can pledge for the full collection, front list only, or by subject package: Anthropology; Communication, Cultural and Media Studies; English Language and Literature; History, Modern Languages and Linguistics; Politics and International Studies; and Sociology.
     *   KU Select 2020 Books<https://www.knowledgeunlatched.org/pledging/>
     *   Book Title List<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qndclT2fnYIDZY2VqHLDncNFi5CPBxp8/view>

  * Libraries can pledge their support for KU and its partner initiatives between now and the end of November 2020 at the KU website<http://www.knowledgeunlatched.org/>. To stay abreast of all news from KU, register here<https://app.knowledgeunlatched.org/register> and sign up for the KU Newsletter. Registration does not imply commitment to pledge.

KU Brochure and Recorded Webinar about New Collections, Partnerships, and Developments

  * The 2020 Brochure<https://knowledgeunlatched.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/KU-Brochure-2020.pdf> details all available collections and partners.

  * In May 2020, our KU colleagues, Catherine Anderson and Bob Schatz, briefly presented the new KU models and collections. In addition to presenting some exciting new partner collections, they also focused on the changes to the KU Select Books model based on feedback from libraries from the last few pledging rounds. A recording of this webinar<https://youtu.be/e9M_oxIynPE> is available.
