e-Duke Scholarly Books Collection and Books Archive
The e-Duke Books Scholarly Collection<https://www.dukeupress.edu/Libraries/collectionDetail.php?collectionid=2> provides access to 2,600 e-books in humanities and social sciences. The collection includes term access to 2,500 backlist titles during 2019 as well as perpetual access to at least 100 new e-books published by Duke University Press throughout the year. For libraries that prefer perpetual ownership of the backlist titles, the 1,250 e-books published before 2008 are available for one-time purchase with perpetual rights as e-Duke Books Archive.

e-Duke Books Scholarly Subject Collections
Duke launched two new scholarly collections in 2018: Music and Sound Studies and Religious Studies. Both new subject collections along with existing e-Duke Books Scholarly Collections are available through purchase or annual lease.


  *   NEW The Music and Sound Studies e-book collection<https://www.dukeupress.edu/Libraries/collectionDetail.php?collectionid=10> includes over 120 titles in African studies, African American studies, American studies, anthropology, Asian studies, gender studies, history, Latin American studies, media studies, sociology, and many other fields. The books in this collection address not just music as it is traditionally studied and understood but also the social, cultural, physiological, and technological dimensions of sound more broadly defined.
  *   NEW The Religious Studies e-book collection<https://www.dukeupress.edu/Libraries/collectionDetail.php?collectionid=11> includes over 100 titles that examine religions around the world, conflicts within and among religions, and the cultural, social, and political dynamics of religion.
  *   The Gender Studies e-book collection<https://www.dukeupress.edu/Libraries/collectionDetail.php?collectionid=8> includes nearly 600 essential titles and field-defining scholarship in queer theory, gay and lesbian studies, transgender studies, feminist theory, and women's studies.
  *   The Latin American Studies e-book collection<https://www.dukeupress.edu/Libraries/collectionDetail.php?collectionid=7> includes over 560 e-books in anthropology, cultural studies, Caribbean studies, Chicanx and Latinx studies, history, literature, film and media, politics, and many other fields, focused on Latin America.
