Central European University Press OA Monographs Initiative: Opening the Future * The Central European University Press (CEUP) is transitioning to an open access monograph program through a new library membership initiative, Opening the Future * CEUP is an established leader in publishing books about the history of communism and transitions to democracy, reflecting its unique position between the East and the West * The new OA publishing model gives Opening the Future members access to a selection of CEUP's extensive backlist, DRM free and with perpetual access to this backlist collection after three years of participation * The membership revenue will be used to make newly-published books openly accessible to anyone.
