Hi all,

In case you missed it, the recording and materials from our June 15 community call on the topic of "ORCID, DOIs, and Data Management Plans" are now available - this will be especially helpful for anyone who works with or helps researchers with data management plans (DMPs), which are generally required by funders. The big news is that DataCite DOIs can now be assigned specifically to DMPs, DMPs can be included as works in ORCID, and anyone using the DMPTool<https://dmptool.org/> to create DMPs can have a DOI created for their DMP, which can then automatically be written to their ORCID record. The call was hosted by the ORCID US Community<https://www.lyrasis.org/Leadership/Pages/orcid-us.aspx> consortium, which is like a sister program to the LYRASIS DataCite US Community. If you have any questions about this topic, don't hesitate to respond to this message, or contact me directly (sheila.rabun at lyrasis.org<mailto:sheila.rabun at lyrasis.org>).
