1.       A reminder of the next deadline in our line-up of ebook offers:

Project MUSE/UPCC eBook Special Offers for large research libraries will end on March 31. Since this day is actually a Sunday, we will be able to place the last orders with MUSE on Monday, April 1, 2013. If you are planning to order under the terms of any of the special offers, please let me know as soon as possible.


2.       We have just reached the deepest level of discount for the Harvard University Press/De Gruyter collections! We now have 32 confirmed participants. I will be talking with De Gruyter soon about the possibility of setting another discount level at 50 participants, so the pricing may even go lower. I will keep you posted as matters progress.


3.       The Independent Voices open access initiative from Reveal Digital<http://www.revealdigital.com/> that I mentioned earlier on this list now has 26 supporting libraries, many of them ARL members,  and Reveal reports that if about 10 more libraries indicate support by the end of April, they will be able to release the earliest collections before the targeted date in July, 2013. Jeff Moyer of Reveal will be at the LYRASIS booth (#1032) at ACRL on Thursday, April 11, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. if anyone would like to stop by and discuss this interesting project with him.
