<p class="MsoNormal">It is with regret that we announce that Brian Hoffman will be leaving his position as ArchivesSpace Technical Lead to take a position with Harvard University Libraries. His last day will be August 18.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As the Technical Lead since March 2021, Brian was responsible for the infrastructure of the ArchivesSpace application and managing the different streams of development. He coordinated over a dozen production releases and release candidates,
including the move to external Solr. Much of his recent work has focused on critical upgrades to the underlying technologies of the system, including Bootstrap and Rails. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Brian has a long association with ArchivesSpace, having previously worked on the original development of the application as part of the Hudson Molonglo team and as a member of the ArchivesSpace program team as a developer from 2015-2016.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:11.55pt">Lyrasis, the Organizational Home for ArchivesSpace, will be working to fill this position soon. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.<o:p></o:p></p>
