<p class="MsoNormal">Just to be clear on this, you can do this in the ASpace application under manage top containers. There is a field “Unassociated containers”, just select “Yes” and all unassociated containers will appear. Click the top check box to select
all, click “Bulk Operations” and “Delete Top Containers”.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I would follow Dan’s advise and do it when no one else is working in the system or on Top Containers. It also always you to sort and select specific top containers if you want to target specific ones.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The only precaution I take is not to delete them when anyone else is doing work that might involve creation of new top containers on the off chance that they might have created a top container but not linked it to anything in the moment
