<p class="MsoNormal">We basically do the same at Kate, but we’ve also unpublished all our DAOs at the moment while we revisit how best to provide a linkage. The item-level records in the digital repository vs the folder-level info in ASpace meant that ASpace
object page/display for that folder would potentially have tens of digital objects (or more than 100, for some photo albums), which would list in a loooong column that users had to scroll and scroll and scroll to view.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We don’t use AS for doing much with digital objects except to provide links to access objects in our digital repository and sometimes provide thumbnails. Our METS and MODS are all made elsewhere and stored in our digital repository along
with the objects, so AS is not our tool for these functions.<o:p></o:p></p>

there is redundancy, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to move forward. <o:p></o:p></p>
