The files don't get written to the state directory until indexing has fully completed. So if ArchivesSpace restarts before then, it will try to re-index from the start again.</div>

<div dir="ltr">Is it typical for PUI indexing to run through all records each time ArchivesSpace restarts? Or is my indexing just never fully completed?

<div>The staff indexer seems to understand that there are no new records and does not run through everything:<br>

But the PUI, so far in my experience, restarts from 0 each time. Just trying to understand if this is normal behavior. I don't have anything in the directory:<br>

archivesspace/data/indexer_pui_state<br>

besides the repositories_repositories.dat. Will there be more files there when PUI indexing really completes?</div>
