<p class="MsoNormal">I can answer the second part: Yes, the user needs to be created in ArchivesSpace before being able to log in, even with LDAP authentication enabled. You can log in as the 'admin' user using the password set in config/config.rb in the <span style="font-family:"Courier New"">AppConfig[:default_admin_password]</span>
setting (default password is 'admin' - but it's a good idea to change that after logging in). Once logged in as admin you can create users and assign them to groups. You will still need to assign a password but the user will be able to log in with their LDAP
password instead.<o:p></o:p></p>
