<font size="3" face="serif">Are you using ASpace to track accessions of rare books, both purchased and gifts?</font><br>

<font size="3" face="serif">We're in a moment of rethinking our workflows and tools for our rare book acquisitions, and considering replacing the paper accessions log with ASpace.</font><br>
<br>
<font size="3" face="serif">Since this is bibliographic material and ASpace is designed primarily for archival/manuscript collections it's a bit of a shoehorn, but not, I think, a ridiculous one. We would probably need some user-defined fields for acquisition fund, for example, and we wouldn't require lots of the fields we do require for accessions of archival materials.</font><br>

<font size="3" face="serif">So, if you are using ASpace this way, what has your experience been? How did you need to modify it in order to bend it to this purpose?</font><br>
