<p>I actually had forgotten all about this plugin...but yes, I think you need to use this if you're running tomcat7, since the way tomcat7 applies routes conflicts with the way Rails asset pipeline works. </p>

<p>This definitely needs to be added to the Tomcat documentation, which I will do now.
