<p>Hi Jaime,</p>
<p><br>
</p>
<p>Yes, this looks like a case of dueling requests, since this ticket:</p>
<p><a id="lnk550471" href="https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/72190678">https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/72190678</a></p>
<p><br>
</p>
<p>then wanted mixed content added back into the unittitle. <br>
</p>
<p><br>
</p>
<p>I think the nuance I missed there is that regular tags should be allowed and kepy, except for unitdate, which should be stripped out.
</p>
<p><br>
</p>
<p>Will update the original ticket and add a fix..</p>

<b>Subject:</b> Nested <unitdate> issue</font>
<div> </div>
</div>
<div>
<div dir="ltr">Hi Chris & Co.,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I am continuing to have issues with imported EAD in regards to the <unitdate>. Our existing EAD files have the <unitdate> nested within our <unittitle>. Upon import, ArchivesSpace is recognizing the <unitdate> and properly populating that field, but
it is also leaving the content of that tag in the <unittitle>. I've attached an image.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I thought the nesting issue was supposed to be addressed in this version of the program (version 1.1.0), so I looked at the notes for the release on github. The problem sounds like <span style="color:rgb(51,51,51); font-family:'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,'Segoe UI',Arial,freesans,sans-serif; font-size:16px; line-height:25.6000003814697px">BUG </span><a href="https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/72326468" style="color:rgb(65,131,196); text-decoration:none; font-family:'Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,'Segoe UI',Arial,freesans,sans-serif; font-size:16px; line-height:25.6000003814697px">#72326468</a>,
which is listed with the resolved bugs: <a href="https://github.com/archivesspace/archivesspace/releases/tag/v1.1.0">
