Thanks, that fixed a lot of the problems.
I'm still seeing _some_ Subjects on the Public interface side when I did not have them selected in the Migrator to Publish (default setting). So, how does that work? What does not selecting Subjects in the Migrator really do? It seems like I would want Subjects
Hi Ed,
It sounds like your index is out of sync. Can you delete the indexer_state file in your archivesspace/data directory to trigger a reindex and see if that resolves this?
You need to look at the ASpace log file (log/archivesspace.out) file to see if the records are being indexed, or if there is any errors.
Also messages like these should be sent to Archives Space User group (achivesspace_users_group@lyralists.lyrasis.org<mailto:achivesspace_users_group@lyralists.lyrasis.org>), and not to me directly, since many users have seen this when their records are not yet indexed.
What were the AS team envisioning for the term's use in the Event Types.
Hi all,

I was looking through Premis and AS documentation, but could not find a definition for the "Contribution" Event Type.

Does anyone know its use/definition? We're trying to put some internal documentation together, and I'd love to have a better idea of what this term specifically refers to.
Hi folks

I've been alerted to a minor issue from the EAD import:

Contents of element <unitid> - its separator values/punctuation change on import, e.g.

"Coll-31/2/EC.49" becomes "Coll_31_2_EC_49".

The slash is an integral part of the departmental unitid- is it possible to implement a fix to preserve slashes in certain instances?

Cheers
Not select subjects in the Migration tool should use the default ASpace
publish setting which I think is not to publish it in the public interface.
Selecting it would override the default ASpace setting and publish them.
