[Archivesspace_Users_Group] PUI & SUI custom tree display?

Hi all,

We're looking at the feasibility of using the ArchivesSpace PUI. This also
relates to an issue we have with our legacy data in the SUI.

We have a lot of collections arranged by component unique identifier, and
where this information is not within the AO's title. I'd like to be able to
put this information in the PUI & SUI trees.

E.g. this collection has materials organized by component unique
identifier, but the identifier does not display in the tree, making it
confusing:

But I'd like to be able to display it like this:

And the same in the SUI, with custom unique identifier showing up as an
extra column before title.

Currently we have our own custom PUI that sets a custom order for these. We
have to rely on this custom PUI to be able to navigate ArchivesSpace's SUI
tree. Naturally a long-term solution may be to put this information in the
title.

We *also *have lots of collections partially arranged by agent and where
agent is not in the title, for which it is again confusing to not be able
to view the agent in the tree. This is more difficult to manage overall as
whether we'd want agent to show up first would be collection-dependent, and
there are larger issues with this approach overall. However it would be
good if agent could also appear somewhere in the trees.

Does anyone know of any customizations that people have done similarly?

Thanks,
Paul
