[Archivesspace_Users_Group] [External Message] Deaccessions

Hi there!

We use the Deaccession sub-record because it's much clearer/more evident to the user than the event record. The Deaccession sub-record can also be published to the public side, and I don't believe the Event records are (but don't quote me on that).

Hello!
We're preparing to start using our ArchivesSpace instance to manage all of our accessions and deaccessions. Curious about how others are documenting deaccessions specifically. Are people using the "Events" option? Deaccession sub-record? Pros / cons of using either of those options? Any insight anyone could provide as to how your institution has decided to manage deaccessions is much appreciated!
