[Archivesspace_Users_Group] FW: Help - Upgrading from ASpace 2.7.1 to 3.2.0 - MySQL

Hello ArchivesSpace Users/Support;

Have not yet heard back on this question; probably because it was sent to the wrong list. Can you please provide details on upgrading from an older version of ArchivesSpace to the current? On https://archivesspace.github.io/tech-docs/administration/upgrading.html there is a section "Run the database migrations", but it does not state if one can go from any previous database version to the target version. Will running the "setup-database" script take us from version 2.7.1 to version 3.2.0; or are incremental upgrades needed?
If incremental upgrades are needed, can the scripts be found in the GIT repository as opposed to downloading each incremental zip file to bring MySQL to version 3.2.0?
Please advise.

When upgrading ArchivesSpace from version 2.7.1 to version 3.2.0 is there a need for an incremental upgrades of the application or database; or can one go directly to version 3.2.0 from a prior version?
