[Archivesspace_Users_Group] bringing the LCNAF plugin back online

If you tried to use the LCNAF plugin in any version of ArchivesSpace the last few days you may have discovered that it was no longer able to connect to the LC service. This is because of a change on their end that needed to be reflected in the plugin. To get the plugin back online for any version up to and including v2.8.0:


  1.  Download the updated lcnaf plugin from the archivesspace-plugins repository: https://github.com/archivesspace-plugins/lcnaf
  2.  Stop your ArchivesSpace.
  3.  Replace the lcnaf plugin folder on your server with this slightly newer version of the plugin. (rename the new folder lcnaf if it is named anything else)
  4.  Restart ArchivesSpace.

The updated version of the plugin with be included in future releases of ArchivesSpace.

Please note, if you have customized this plugin at all, replacing it like this will cause you to lose those changes. Email us at ArchivesSpaceHome at lyrasis.org<mailto:ArchivesSpaceHome at lyrasis.org> if you need help working the changes into a customized version of the plugin.
