Registration is now open <https://www.eventbrite.com/e/archivesspace-southeastern-regional-member-forum-tickets-73856056453> for the ArchivesSpace Southeastern Regional Forum on November 15, 2019, at the Hollings Special Collections Library at ArchivesSpace member institution University of South Carolina. As with previous forums, this will be a free opportunity for staff from ArchivesSpace member institutions in the region to meet and share information with each other and the program team about all things ArchivesSpace with a focus on local interests and activities.
SCHEDULE OVERVIEW

· Pre-forum Happy Hour: An optional happy hour will be held the evening before the forum. Appetizers (including vegetarian options) will be provided. You are welcome to purchase your own drinks or additional food.

· Morning program: The morning will highlight shared stories and experiences through focused discussions and presentations.

Afternoon program: The afternoon will feature two workshops. To secure your place in a workshop, pre-registration is required. You will need to bring your own laptop for each workshop. Tablets and chromebooks are strongly discouraged.
Workshops A: ArchivesSpace Basics
This workshop will cover the basic elements of ArchivesSpace including getting started and demonstrating the most commonly used modules. There will also be time to demonstrate audience requested functions.
Workshop B: Migration and Data Control in ArchivesSpace
Kelly Spring will draw from her own experience at East Carolina University migrating to ArchivesSpace for this workshop, where she will demonstrate methodologies and workflows for both initial migration and data clean up after migration has occurred.
