[Archivesspace_Users_Group] version string

what is the quickest way to pull a version.major-release.minor-release string from archivesspace at the command line?

Any chance that the version could be added as on option in archivesspace.sh, like having archivesspace.sh [start|status|version|stop|restart] ?
