[Archivesspace_Users_Group] public-formats plugin issue on 2.1.2

Hi Alston,

I believe the public formats plugin has not been updated to be compatible with 2.1.2. (In fact, I don't believe it's been updated for awhile.) It was developed outside of ArchivesSpace and is not part of what's maintained centrally by the program.

The 2.1.x PUI versions do include a print button as part of a standard installation. This function is not tied in to the public-formats plugin. So disabling that plugin should not have an effect on whether the print button displays or works. If you/your IT people need help troubleshooting this particular issue, feel free to email ArchivesSpaceHome at lyrasis.org<mailto:ArchivesSpaceHome at lyrasis.org> about putting in a tech support ticket.

We just upgraded from 1.5.3 to 2.1.2.  My IT guy says that the public-formats plugin was not playing nice with the version of ArchivesSpace and therefore he has disabled it.  Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Also, the print button on the public user interface gives us an error message.  I am assuming this is because the public-formats plugin is disabled.  Does that seem correct?
