[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Reports routing 1.5.1

Hi folks,

Thanks- I’m sure our problem is to do with this “no method” error- I wonder if it’s because I’m getting the “Batch Find and Replace" screen for Reports and therefore the data it’s getting is junk- do you suspect I am alone in getting the “Batch Find and Replace” screen layout when I select Reports? I noticed, after building the 1.5.1 software, that I had no configure_tomcat.sh script (in scripts- has that changed to being in launcher), and when running it, it complained that there was no tomcat folder in launcher (I copied both from a previous version). Could this be the source of my problems, and do you think that something’s gone wrong on my build if I do not have that folder?

Interesting, the sandbox doesn’t look right as it is missing Reports but does have translation missing: en.enumerations.job_type.report_type  . Selecting ths brings up some reports but I think there is a setup problem here.
Unfortunately, all the ArchivesSpace/Lyrasis people are out until next week. I’m not sure what is up with the sandbox.

Thanks very much Ed- I see that now.

So, we go into Jobs and when I create new and select Reports, rather than getting the Reports screen I can see in Sandbox, I get attached (Batch Find and Replace). I take it this is not what you experience?
I wonder what could cause that.

This behavior (selecting Reports under the widget icon by the repository name going to Background Jobs) is also happening on test.archivespace.org instance. I don’t think that’s what it should be doing. Guessing it should go to what I have below.

To get to Reports, go under Create> Background Jobs and select Reports.

Hi folks

We’re testing 1.5.1 currently.
In the frontend/admin (8080) area, when clicking on Reports from the dropdown, I am sent to …/jobs rather than …/reports. Putting the full URL (in this case http://lac-archives-test.is.ed.ac.uk:8080/reports) into the browser results in the following error:
Routing Error
uninitialized constant ReportsController
Try running rake routes for more information on available routes.
I’ve had a look at frontend/config/routes.rb , and the reference to

 match 'reports' => 'reports#index', :via => [:get]

looks pretty reasonable, so I was wondering:

  1.  Is this a bug, or is it our installation that is wrong?
  2.  If it is us, where should I be checking/fixing?
Apparently running Background Jobs> Create> Reports doesn’t work either (results inNoMethodError in JobsController#create).
