[Archivesspace_Users_Group] Custom Javascript for Public Interface

Greetings all,

                Dumb question, but where can we place custom javascript/jquery files within the ArchivesSpace directory for use on the public interface? I have tried in footer files as well as in the assets/javascripts folder but it does not seem to be picked up.
